Heather Brown grew up in many parts of the country and even spent some time living overseas. This diversity in her background has laid the foundation for her desire to be involved and active in politics and with College Democrats. In high school her passion for politics started with a government teacher who challenged her get involved to make a difference in her community. When she attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Heather quickly joined the College Democrats chapter and worked to help develop and build a strong presence on her campus.

 
After the 2004 election, she became very involved with College Democrats of America and has been a strong Voice for Nevada on the national scene ever since. Sharing her knowledge, passion and drive for helping College Students by helping them get involved, strengthen their voice and become more effective as a collective group.
 
Heather currently serves as President of Young Democrats of Nevada, Heather works with both College Democrats and Young Professionals in her state to get them engaged and active in this
election. As President of her State Federation, she is an ex-efficio voting member of the Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Board, representing a key constituency in the state.
 
Now a freshmen again, as a Graduate Student, Heather is eager for the opportunity to serve her fellow college students.
