The CDA Black Caucus seeks to represent one of the core constituencies of the College Democrats of America. The Black Caucus seeks to build communication, empower leaders, promote awareness, strengthen networks, and impact the communities in which we live in by acting as one strong unit for the sake of the future of the Democratic Party.

The CDA Black Caucus provides a platform towards awareness in the black community of college students nationwide. We are a team of dedicated activists that are committed in our efforts to strengthen and "restructure" the foundation of this organization which was built on the principles of scholastic development, community involvement, social and political activism, and cultural preservation. With these pillars of change in mind, we will foster a new renaissance approach with a fundamentally sound agenda. Hence, this year's theme, "Back to Basics: Restoring the Dream through Faith & a Vision with Purpose!"
