Analiese Eicher
Membership Director
Analiese Eicher is a rising senior at the University of Wisconsin at Madison studying Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies. Born and raised by two educators in the union town Janesville, WI, Analiese got her first taste of politics when then First Lady Hillary Clinton came to town to campaign for now Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin.
Analiese's involvement with politics stems from her strong commitment to democratic values, her interest in women's issues and female representation and from the help of an AP Government teacher in high school.
In 2006, she worked on UW Madison's campus to re-elect Congresswoman Baldwin to the House of Representatives, and became heavily involved with the College Democrats. That spring Analiese was elected Women's Issues Director for the College Democrats of Wisconsin and served as a state representative to the College Democrats of America's Women's Caucus, and served two years in that position.
In 2008 Analiese was elected Chair of the College Democrats of America's Women's Caucus, and successfully ran programming encouraging young women to vote and a program educating college students about HPV. In the fall of 2008, Analiese also worked as the Campus Coordinator for Tammy Baldwin's campaign, re-electing the Congresswoman with 69% of the vote.
Analiese currently serves as the Chair of the College Democrats of Wisconsin. When she is not working on college democrats stuff, she can be found studying or hanging with friends at the Memorial Union Terrace.
